Michelle Jones
Executive Vice President
Michelle Jones is a graduate of the University of South Florida where she earned a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and is currently completing her MBA through Hodges University. She served 13 years in the Army and is an experienced trainer and leader.
As an Army Transportation Officer, Michelle served as Platoon Leader, Company Commander, Support Operations Officer, and Logistics Officer. During this time she deployed to Macedonia and Kosovo in support of Task Force Falcon and Operation Joint Guardian, as well as Albania in support of Task Force Hawk.
She commanded a Headquarters Company of over 200 Soldiers and finished her career as the commander of a Medium Truck Company with over 175 Soldiers. While in command, she deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and accomplished many complex, dangerous convoy operations.
Her awards and decorations include the Parachutist Badge, Bronze Star Medal, Meritorious Service Medal, four Army Commendations, six Army Achievement awards, Army Good Conduct Medal, two National Defense Service Medals, the Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal, two Kosovo Campaign Medals, the Iraq Campaign Medal, the Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, the Humanitarian Service Medal, the NATO Service Medal, Overseas Service Medal and a Presidential Unit Citation.
Michelle's military training includes Airborne School, Transportation Officer Basic Course, Combined Logistics Captain's Career Course, Combined Arms Service Staff School and several other advance leadership schools. Michelle has a Black Belt in Combat AikiJitsu.
Michelle is the creator of the ATC Assessment™ program which uses a variety of behavior and personality assessment tools to gain deeper insight into team dynamics. Her "no nonsense", fun and engaging approach keeps her clients coming back for more! Read more in her testimonials.
Michelle is an authorized Inscape Publishing Distributor and a certified DiSC Behavior Assessment trainer. She is authoring her first book and she travels around the country helping individuals and teams improve performance through understanding not only individual behavior, but the behavior of others.
As a highly decorated war veteran, Michelle continues to support veterans and initiatives supporting military readiness. In support of the Center for Military Readiness, Michelle testified at the Center for Military Readiness Annual Briefing in our Nation's Capital on subjects relating to military readiness. Michelle continues to support soldiers around the globe. In 2008, she was invited to speak to a crowd of hundreds that included many soldiers and leaders, local heroes, and politicians when a Ft. Michelle gives selflessly to the community and is active in too many organizations to list. To name a few: she is President's Club Committee Chair, Bonita Springs Chamber of Commerce; Board of Directors (Past), PACE Center for Girls Collier in Immokalee www.pacecenter.org; member of eWomen Network www.ewomennetwork.com; she completed the 2008 Susan G. Komen 60 mile walk for the Cure; and is in the 2010 Leadership Collier Class.
Michelle was recognized as one of the 2008 Gulfshore Life 40 under 40 recognizing 40 exceptional business professionals in Southwest Florida under the age of 40. She is married to Brian Jones, the CEO of Adventure Training Concepts and they reside in Naples, Florida.
